Bulletproof Golde Tea Latte

Don't knock it until you try it - blending up tea with deliciously fatty ghee or coconut oil is more than just a fad. It's downright delicious. 

Our golde tea is a perfect contender for the bulletproof method because it contains a pleasantly peppery blend of turmeric, ginger and cinnamon.

Did you know consuming turmeric with a high quality fat boosts its bioavailability? Turmeric is fat-soluble, which means your body can absorb it more effectively when accompanied by fat. Don't mind if we do! 

Fat is also a great thing to consume before bedtime, as your brain actually needs this form of healthy energy to sleep!

Get ready to drink up & wind down. Unlike the infamous coffee version, this tea latte will gently get you in the zen zone.

Bulletproof Golde Tea Latte Recipe

  • 2 tsp of golde tea, brewed for at least 10 minutes
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 tbsp ghee, coconut oil or grass-fed butter
  • 1 tbsp plant-based milk 
  • Pinch of cinnamon and black pepper.

Combine the golde tea and boiling water and set aside to steep. Strain the tea, reserving the tea leaves for a later use (!)

In a blender, add the strained tea, ghee, milk, cinnamon and black pepper. Blend for 20 seconds, until frothy.

Enjoy hot immediately, or serve over ice!
