Now that it's gone from chilly to Thailand-like temps in a week (thanks Toronto!) we're looking for tasty ways to rehydrate and keep our skin healthy. This cold brew Rose Schisandra Glow recipe has been on our lips all week! It's perfect for after exercising or spending time outside. There's loads of skin-protecting antioxidants from hibiscus and rosehips, and cucumbers add freshness and a boost of hydration. A pinch of pink Himalayan salt boosts flavour and balances electrolyte levels.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 cups prepared cold brew Rose Schisandra Glow* (Snag the recipe)
- 1 tbsp collagen, we love Aura Inner Beauty
- juice from half a lemon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch pink Himalayan salt
- cucumbers to top (optional)
METHOD:
In a jar or shaker, combine all ingredients. Shake to dissolve collagen and maple syrup. Pour over a glass filled with ice. Top with cucumber or fresh mint if desired. Serves 1.
*For a speedier method, brew a cup of Rose Schisandra Glow tea double strength, and add extra ice to cool down.
